🔒 Privacy Policy for NeuroHarbor

NeuroHarbor ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to respecting and protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.
1. Information We Collect
Email Address: Required for account creation.
Public Submissions: Some parts of the app allow users to share content publicly. In some sections (e.g., "Interest Room"), posts are attributed to usernames. In others ("Struggles and Solutions," "I Am Not Alone," and "What I Wish People Understood"), posts are anonymous by default.
2. How We Use Your Information
To provide core functionality of the app, including account management and community interaction.
To maintain platform integrity and allow user-reported moderation.
3. Data Storage
All user data is securely stored in Supabase.
User data is never sold, shared, or used for third-party marketing.
4. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time. This will remove their email and username and anonymize posts in the "Interest Room."
Anonymous sections remain anonymous by design.
5. Reporting and Moderation
Users may report or block others via public profiles.
Moderation is handled manually and with community support.
6. Cookies and Tracking
NeuroHarbor does not use cookies or tracking tools.
7. Third Parties
No third-party services receive user data.
8. Future Monetization
While currently free and ad-free, NeuroHarbor may offer optional donation links in the future.
This will not affect access to app features.
9. Your Rights
You may delete your account at any time within the app. At deletion, your email and username are removed, and any attributed content is anonymized where applicable.
For full data removal, users must submit a request through the in-app contact form and enter the title “Data Deletion.”
